Click here to print or download the full version of the warranty as a PDF In addition to the 90 day satisfaction guarantee, detailed under "Returns" on the Policies page, at left, I now offer a limited warranty on my writing instruments. Here's a brief summary of my warranty*:
Pens, pencils, and letter openers handcrafted by David J. Tilson are warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of three years from the date of purchase This warranty does not apply to any damage that constitutes normal wear and tear or any damage due to improper use of the product. In the event of a defect in material or workmanship, David J. Tilson will, at his option, repair or replace the product with no charge to the purchaser for parts or labor. The repaired or replaced product will then be warranted for the remainder of the original warranty period. For products returned for service within the first year of the warranty period, the manufacturer will provide shipping and insurance both ways within the 48 states. For products returned after the first year of the warranty period, the manufacturer only pays shipping and insurance to return the repaired product to the purchaser.
